Project Description:
The poem 'Your first Museum" is an exploration of home as our first site of memory making and consequently our participation in a creation of the archive even in the quotidian.






Wana Udobang is a writer, poet, performer, curator and storyteller with three spoken word albums. Her works explore memory, quiet intimacies, violence, food and the body.
Wana facilitates The Comfort Food Storytelling Workshop which uses food memories to inspire new stories. She has been awarded numerous fellowships for her storytelling including the Ama Ata Aidoo Fellowship at Northwestern University and the Camargo Foundation Fellowship.
